Admitting The State Of Israel As An Observer To The African Union Is A Plus For The Continent

Recalling that on July 22, 2021 - the African Union Commission officially granted Observer status to the State of Israel but that around 17 member countries are opposing it: This includes the argument that the African people will derive great benefit from the State of Israel, which has notably established agricultural cooperatives, youth training centres and medical facilities in countries such as Ghana, Sierra Leone, Rwanda and Côte d'Ivoire: Noting that to date, 46 of the 55 African countries maintain bilateral relations with the State of Israel.
