We used either two sticks or stones placed three to four steps apart as the goal posts. There was no cross bar.Therefore, anything that is kicked beyond the reach of the goalkeeper was deemed High and was ruled as No Goal. That was our equivalent of the modern-day VAR!!! I was The Best goalie of my street team. We were winning most of the time. I was short, always the shortest and the best indeed!!! My height at the goal post turned from our winning ace card to the weakest point.
