New television station Ke Yona TV was successfully launched in Bulawayo at an exhilarating event that was headlined by South African songstress Makhadzi.
Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa who was the Guest of Honour, said the launch of the TV station is the testimony of the government’s commitment to leaving no-one and no place behind.
“The launch of KeYona TV is testimony that we are a listening government. With Bulawayo being the cultural capital of the country, Ke Yona TV is set to unlock the city’s potential in the creative sector,” said Minister Mutsvangwa. Minister Mutsvangwa addressed the crowd and delegates via satellite.
