The high-profile event strengthened the traditional values of culture and connectivity and brought fanfare and festivity to the rural folk deep in the villages of Zimbabwe. The awards were given to the community members who are doing well in the local areas, including students who did well in various schools in Nkayi. This is the first event of its kind since the Chief's installation in 2019, and in fact the first of its kind by any traditional leader in Zimbabwe.
