In today's world, where the internet plays a pivotal role in our daily lives, it is essential to have well-informed policies and practices in place to ensure that the internet is used to promote the interests of all stakeholders. ZimSIG is an annual event that brings together representatives from various sectors, including the government, civil society, private sector, academia, and technical community. Its primary goal is to facilitate a discourse on emerging issues and trends in internet governance, such as cybersecurity, data protection, digital rights, and internet access.
