SANParks Celebrates SA National Parks Week

By Nomazulu Moyo Kruger National Park – The South African National Parks is celebrating the SA National Parks Week at Kruger National Park this week with an increasing number of visitors to the national parks. This is an annual event that was established 18years ago to allow South Africans to visit the national parks for free so that they will protect the fauna and flora in them. SANParks CEO Ms Hapiloe Sello said that this week is dedicated to creating awareness about national parks and raising the status of national parks, as well as educating the public about the need and use of national parks. “The role of communities in our efforts to protect our parks is of vital importance.
