Born and raised in the Seshego Township of Limpopo Province, Dikgale’s journey has been marked by a deep commitment to her community and her country.
Her professional background includes significant roles in the Limpopo Premier’s office and the National Department of Tourism, where she honed her understanding of the tourism landscape.
Today, she channels this experience into her business, aiming to bridge cultural gaps and promote South Africa as a premier tourist destination.

Tumelo Talking SA produces “talking books” that offer an immersive auditory experience. Each book is equipped with an audio device that narrates the content, making it an ideal tool for individuals who may struggle with traditional reading.
“I realised that people are hesitant to read, not necessarily because they cannot, but because they lack interest,” Dikgale explains. “By creating audiobooks, we make learning about South Africa engaging and accessible.”
The talking books cover various topics, including South African languages, cultural practices, traditional foods, and notable tourist attractions across all nine provinces.
“Our goal is to ensure that when tourists visit, they understand the essence of South Africa,” Dikgale says. “We want them to know our languages, our foods, and our cultures.”

Dikgale’s vision extends beyond merely educating tourists. She aims to create resources that families can enjoy together. “This is not just for one person; it’s a collective experience,” she asserts. “Talking SA is a 100% black woman-owned business,” she proudly states. “We are here to provide services that enhance our community and promote inclusivity.”
The business also offers event planning, printing services, and translation in all 11 official South African languages, highlighting Dikgale’s dedication to fostering local talent and resources. “It’s about creating a sustainable ecosystem that benefits everyone,” she explains.
