It’s December on the DSE News Network, and this is the month of festivities and entertainment. News on the celebrity front is that Zimbabwean music sensation Natasha Muz is set to drop a mind-blowing EP – Alpha – on December 3rd as she sets to close the year in style

Straight from the Chitungwiza this versatile and multi-talented artist is making waves in the music industry. Natasha Muromba – AKA Natasha Muz – some know her as the girl who sang the Juzi reply during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020.

This week she sat down with the DSE News Network and shared the story of her inspiring journey, from humble beginnings to becoming a popular musician.

Born and bred in the ghetto, Natasha is the second of four siblings. Her early education took place in Glen Norah, with her high school years spent in Chitungwiza.

It was during her sixth grade that Natasha discovered her passion for music, unlocking a talent that would forever change her life.

Apart from her musical pursuits, Natasha is a businesswoman, running a successful baby apparel. Natasha’s musical journey began with a realisation of her talent in Grade 6 where she defied genre conventions with her versatile sound. “I don’t have a specific genre,” she confidently states.

“I’m comfortable singing or rapping in various languages, exploring different styles to create something unique.” This has earned her recognition since not many artists are versatile in their music. Inspired by Fun and Entertainment Natasha’s music is driven by a passion for entertainment.

Her reply tracks to Kae Chaps’ hits, such as “Juzi” and “Gehena,” were born from a desire to create engaging content. “I did those songs as a fan, and it was amazing to see how well they were received,” she shares.

This positive response has brought attention to her talent within the music industry. Empowering the Girl Child – Natasha’s music surpasses mere entertainment; it carries a meaningful message. “I do most of this to inspire the girl child,” she reveals.

Through her art, she aims to uplift and motivate young girls, promoting self-confidence and empowerment.

When asked about potential drawbacks to her versatility, Natasha acknowledges facing uncertainty but remains focused on the positive. “It has affected me once, but I chose to stay versatile and keep pushing forward.”
The award-winning star is set to release an amazing EP on the 3rd of December 2024, titled, “Alpha,” whereby “The Alpha”, female sounds silent simply meaning a ruler, a leader, full of passion, heroic and authentic.

She says that this EP defines who she really is and basically something which inspires herself and other females, it is also something that is going to bring change in every music sector which includes a mixture of Hip-hop, Rnb and trap pushing boundaries and challenging listener’s expectations.
